Responsibilities:

- Manage transactions from initial structuring through closing, coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, title companies, lenders and other transaction participants.
Education and Experience:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active admission in good standing to the Maryland Bar. District of Columbia admission is a plus.
- Five or more years of real estate law experience.
- Experience handling commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financing, development and leasing, with the ability to manage matters independently and collaborate on complex transactions.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical and organizational skills, with careful attention to detail and responsive client service.
- Experience representing both borrowers and lenders is preferred. Familiarity with affordable housing, HUD/FHA financing, low-income housing tax credits or Fannie Mae lending programs is a plus.
