Description
Work in your neighborhood and give back to your community. BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for Live-In Caregivers / Home Health Aides to care for our clients. As a member of our home care team, you will be valued, respected, and heard. The Live-In Caregiver is present in the home and available to provide assistance intermittently throughout a 24 hour period.
We currently have openings for Live-In Caregivers throughout New Jersey, with the following benefits and opportunities:

Statewide Coverage: Our 10 offices serve counties throughout Northern and Southern New Jersey.

Flexible Work Opportunities: Live-in HHAs can be shared among all 10 offices, providing opportunities to accept cases anywhere in the state.

Transportation Provided: Transportation is available at the beginning and end of each live-in case, as well as for fill-in assignments.
BAYADA offers Live-Ins / HHAs:
- Base Pay: $1,360 - $1,450 WEEKLY (pay rate depends on level of care involved)
- Bonus Opportunities – for covering emergency fill-ins, referring other HHAs to BAYADA, and more.
- Transportation provided for live-ins
- Home Care Field Employees are eligible for any of BAYADA’s group medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits if you work an average of 30 hours per week over a 3-month measurement period.
- Home Care Field Employees working less than 30 hours per week are eligible for the Minimum and Enhanced Minimum Coverage Plans.

Qualifications for Live-In / HHA:
- Minimum ONE FULL YEAR work experience as an HHA, or a non-healthcare Employer (if newly licensed)
- Have completed a recognized HHA training course and hold an ACTIVE NEW JERSEY HHA License

- A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.
- Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.

- Must be able to attend orientation in-person at a BAYADA office and pass a skills evaluation with our Clinical Manager.
Job Responsibilities for Live-In / HHA:
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
- Remain in the home for each 24-hour period, as assigned by clinical manager.
