Overview
The Automation & Utility Assistant Manager leads Automation and Utility Engineering across Binh Duong plants, ensuring utility equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, operational continuity and continuous improvement. The role drives TPM, troubleshooting, automation projects, CAPEX delivery, OT/digitalization initiatives and utility sustainability, while developing technical capability across maintenance and utility teams.
Responsibilities
Lead Automation and Utility Engineering activities across Binh Duong plants, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation of automation, utility and production systems. Drive PM, CM, AM, CBM, TPM, troubleshooting and RCA programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce breakdowns. Lead Automation and Utility projects, CAPEX execution and OT/digitalization initiatives while ensuring delivery to scope, cost and schedule. Manage utility operations, maintenance budgets, spare parts and sustainability programs focused on energy, fuel, electricity and water reduction. Develop technical capability of maintenance and production teams through coaching, training and cross-functional collaboration, while ensuring compliance with AIB, GEHSMS and applicable engineering standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation Engineering, Heating technology or related discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Automation, Utility or Maintenance Engineering within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, pneumatic and automation systems, with practical experience in TPM, PM, CM, AM, CBM, troubleshooting and RCA. Proven project management capability, including CAPEX execution, budget management and cross-functional stakeholder management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, with good English communication skills. Strong problem-solving, leadership, coaching and communication capabilities are required
