We need a diverse workforce to do our best work. We need the makers, the forward thinkers, the problem solvers, and everything in between. That is where you come in. We have an immediate hiring need for our part-time manufacturing Cleaning Associate.

This is a Part-time 2nd Shift role. (About 25 hours/week)

Job Summary:

Maintains work areas of offices and industrial buildings to keep them clean and orderly. Uses janitorial supplies, maintains restroom areas, and removes waste material. Performs special cleaning projects as assigned.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Works on assignments that are routine in nature.

Normally receives detailed instructions on work.

Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete tasks.

Clean/dust/vacuum/sweep/mop/sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, office and common areas.

Disposing of trash and recyclables.

Restock supplies.

Collect and launder shop rags and mop heads.

SKILLS:

• To read, understand and work from task list
• To recognize when a task needs to be done even if not yet scheduled to be
• Ensures thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures. Appropriately applies policies and procedures in compliance with government laws

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to follow written or verbal directions.
• Ability to effectively communicate.
• Read printed materials

Preferred Qualifications:

• Typically requires no related experience

Additional Role Activities:

• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs.
• Self-Direction within Team Environment
• Visual and Hand Dexterity
• Sit and/or Stand for long periods
• Responsible for utilizing proper safety equipment and following all safety procedures
