The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:
$197,000.00 - $295,400.00
Purpose Statement: Develop an effective sourcing organization for the commodity families within the Electronic Manufacturing Services Industry for the markets that we serve, focusing on lowest total cost of ownership and best in class flexibility to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Defines the group-wide sourcing strategy for commodity families assigned and steers its implementation. Ensures the development and deployment of related processes and policies throughout the corporation.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Guide interface between Global Sourcing and Engineering Solutions to drive value through early supplier engagement.
- Drive commercial and cost saving benefits realized at the P&L level to achieve the targeted net parts margin. Monitor and set the targets for the quarterly cost reduction activities together with the VP of Sourcing.
- Develop and drive the future strategic roadmap for the company within global sourcing in cooperation with peers in the other regions.
- Develop a professional relationship with key suppliers through executive meetings and execution to the defined business metrics. Proactively develop executive level supplier relationship that result in Plexus achieving competitive costs, terms and availability of supply in all market conditions.
- Lead Supply Chain Excellence initiatives or high impact special projects that enable the organization to increase competitiveness and differentiate Plexus against competition.
- Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
- Implement a global risk monitoring framework to identify supplier financial, operational, and geopolitical vulnerabilities while systematically eliminating single and sole-source dependencies across the Custom Engineered Commodities.
- Strategy lead for the Custom Engineered Commodities Plexus Preferred Advantage program. Build a top-tier network of strategic preferred suppliers that deliver superior value, technology access, and capacity reservation.
- Lead advanced sourcing strategies during early-stage customer engagement and NPI to align supplier capabilities with emerging customer requirements, enabling seamless scale for Plexus' expanding customer base.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 10 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Physical Requirements:
