AI Platform Lead (Captain AI)

We're looking for someone whose curiosity about AI goes beyond their job description. Someone who loves exploring new tools, understands how they work, and gets excited about turning emerging technologies into practical solutions.As our Captain AI, you will be the go-to expert for enterprise AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Claude, helping colleagues across the organisation use them effectively, securely and responsibly. You will combine technical expertise with hands-on problem-solving, service ownership and collaboration across teams.This isn't a traditional Product Owner or AI development role. It's an opportunity to become our internal AI champion, someone who doesn't just follow AI developments but actively explores how to make them work in the real world.

What you'll do

• Take ownership of Nortal's enterprise AI platforms, ensuring they are reliable, secure, well-supported and continuously improving.
• Act as our internal AI expert, staying ahead of emerging tools, technologies and developments in the AI landscape.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation.
• Evaluate new AI tools, integrations and use cases, helping teams understand their technical feasibility, practical value and potential risks.
• Improve and automate AI-related service processes, including licence management, access requests and support workflows.
• Coordinate the administration and operational support of AI platforms across our distributed IT teams.
• Work closely with Information Security, Legal, Compliance and AI Governance teams to ensure AI platforms operate within approved policies and controls.
• Support the technical lifecycle of shared GPTs, AI agents, skills, connectors and integrations.
• Drive internal AI adoption through knowledge sharing, practical guidance and collaboration with colleagues.Identify opportunities to improve how AI services are delivered and establish scalable best practices across Nortal.

What you bring

• Strong practical knowledge of modern AI tools and platforms, such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude or similar technologies.
• A genuine passion for AI, curiosity about emerging technologies and enthusiasm for continuous experimentation and learning.
• Experience in IT service management, enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, IT operations or a comparable technical environment.
• Good understanding of enterprise IT environments, including access management, integrations, security considerations and support processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges and turn them into practical solutions.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Confidence working with stakeholders across different business functions and seniority levels, including senior management.
• A proactive, independent and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to take ownership and drive improvements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in English. Estonian will be a plus.

We value practical experience, technical curiosity and the ability to learn over specific degrees or job titles. You don't need to have worked as an AI Platform Lead before if you have the technical foundation, enthusiasm and motivation to grow into the role.

Gross monthly salary: €4500–€6000. Final compensation will depend on factors such as relevant experience, role seniority, and skill set.
