Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.   The informational meeting will be located in the back-of-house area of the casino. It will not take place on the casino floor.

  How to attend:

  When you enter from Miami Street, take a right and drive around the building until you pass the loading dock area. To your immediate left there will be a large outdoor parking lot. Park and walk to where the building meets the parking garage structure. There is a door labeled "Team Member Entrance". Enter there and press the buzzer to the left of the second set of doors. Let the Security Dispatcher know you are here for the Security Officer hiring event and they will direct you from there.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Previous customer service experience
• Able to handle stressful situations dealing with the general public
• Ability to work in an environment, which may be noisy
• Employing tact when dealing with difficult team members, guests or situations.
• Ability to identify and quickly respond to potential problems, conflicts and to defend oneself and others in combative situations
• Run on level or graded surfaces, as well as up and down stairs
• Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas, including walking and standing for long periods of time
• Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license
• Ability to multi-task as required, officers cover a wide variety of different posts and work with all departments
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to push, pull, carry and lift to 35lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job related duties in varying work areas, such as confined spaces.
• Employee could be exposed to an environment containing unrestricted second-hand tobacco smoke
• Ability to adapt and adjust as necessary
