Overview
SUMMARY
HUSTLER Hollywood is looking for a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to support our retail team. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of HR for the Retail Division and works out of our beautiful Century City office. The Human Resources Generalist will handle tasks within the Human Resources department with responsibilities in onboarding, offboarding, training and development, HRIS administration, HR ticket management (using Zendesk), assisting with employee relations and investigations, and general HR administration including special projects and rewards and recognition.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research projects as directed
- Compile HR reports as directed
- Assist with recruitment and employee relations
- Maintain employee files in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate and manage/report on status of training requirements such as sexual harassment
- Conduct Onboarding and Off-boarding of retail and corporate employees
- Process new hires, terminations and other status changes within the HRIS system (ADP Workforce Now and eTime)
- Generate Background Checks and Assessment tests
- Manages I-9 and E-Verify compliance for retail team
- Responds to unemployment claims and assists external unemployment claims administrator with necessary information
- Partners with Legal in tracking and auditing the collection of required onboarding documents
- Responsible for ordering and distribution of Labor Law Posters in compliance with State and Federal regulations
- Assist with leaves of absence though absence management platform.
- Assists with general HR questions and understanding how to apply company policy and procedures, determining when escalation is necessary
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 3 years Human Resources experience with generalist duties
- ADP Workforce Now knowledge and experience with the ability to run reports and create spreadsheets upon request.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with solid judgement and discretion
- General knowledge of multi-state and federal employment laws and practices
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Employee relations experience
EDUCATION/FORMAL TRAINING
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology or related field of Study preferred, and/or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Professional office environment. In Ofice 100% of the time

- Job requires ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time
- Job requires ability to lift and carry items up to 20lbs
