At AGC Biologics, you’ll join a fast-growing biopharmaceutical company where quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement are part of everyday life. As an Electrical/Automation Technician in our Equipment Maintenance team, you’ll be a key contributor in maintaining and improving manufacturing and utility systems—directly supporting life-changing therapies for patients worldwide.
In this role, your work directly impacts our ability to deliver high-quality biopharmaceuticals on time—and positions you at the heart of a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your expertise helps power life-changing therapies.
About the Team
The Equipment Maintenance team in Engineering comprises 8 dedicated technicians with a strong focus on personal development, collaboration, and high professional standards. We operate with a flat structure where every contribution matters and decisions are made collaboratively. Our culture emphasizes ownership, continuous learning, and mutual support. We work closely together to maintain critical production equipment and promote a safe, innovative, and engaging work environment.
About the Role
As an Electrician in our Equipment Maintenance team, you will play a critical role within Engineering by ensuring the reliability and performance of all electrical systems that keep our biopharmaceutical production equipment running around the clock. You will take technical ownership of complex electrical systems and support automation tasks as needed. You will be the team’s key resource when it comes to troubleshooting critical alarms, executing preventive and corrective maintenance, and driving continuous improvements in our electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead troubleshooting of electrical faults in production and utility equipment, including motors, control panels, and distribution systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on legacy and modern equipment, ensuring maximum uptime
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to plan, execute, and document work orders accurately and on time
- Ensure full GMP-compliant documentation for all maintenance activities
- Support commissioning of new electrical installations and upgrades
- Identify and implement optimizations to improve equipment performance, safety, and energy efficiency
- Participate in the on-call and shift rotation to support 24/7 production operations
Your Qualifications
We are looking for a hands-on technician with strong expertise in electrical systems, a structured approach to maintenance, and a commitment to high-quality standards.
Ideally, you must have the following qualifications:
- Completed education as an Industrial Electrician or equivalent (e.g., “Elektriker med erfaring fra industri eller procesanlæg”)
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance
- Strong understanding of industrial power systems, motor control, switchboards, and safety standards
- Practical knowledge of control panels, frequency converters, and field-level electrical components
- Familiarity with CMMS systems for maintenance planning and execution
- Experience working in structured, regulated environments—ideally within GMP or similar standards
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
The following qualifications will further strengthen your application, but are not essential:
- Familiarity with automation systems and PLC fault tracing (e.g., Siemens S7/TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley)
- Basic understanding of HMI/SCADA systems and distributed control concepts
- Able to communicate effectively in both Danish and English
