Operations Manager – Johannesburg
Location: East Rand / Modderfontein Area
Salary: R45 000 – R55 000 CTC per month
Exceptional candidates slightly above the range may be considered.
Jobs2day is recruiting an experienced Operations Manager for an established organisation in Johannesburg.
This is a management-level appointment suited to a hands-on operational leader with strong warehousing, inventory, people and commercial management experience. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the effective day-to-day operation, including warehouse performance, stock control, staff management, financial controls, client service, compliance and continuous improvement. Key Requirements
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or equivalent management-level role
- Strong warehousing and inventory management experience
- Experience managing operational teams and multiple functions
- Sound budgeting, cost-control and financial acumen
- Experience managing clients, suppliers and SLAs
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and reporting skills
- Matric; relevant Business/Operations Management qualification preferred
- SYSPRO and/or Pastel experience advantageous
- Industrial or chemical-sector experience advantageous, but not essential

Candidates should preferably already be based in Johannesburg/Gauteng and comfortable commuting daily to the Modderfontein/Longmeadow area.
