Head of Product Design

Crexi is looking for a Head of Product Design to join our team hybrid in Los Angeles or remote in the US. 

 

What You'll Do: 

As Head of Product Design, you'll own product design across multiple product lines, shaping the strategy and standards of the broader design organization.  As a senior, hands-on leader, you’ll be accountable for the quality, coherence, and business impact of design across the portfolio. You'll partner with product, engineering, and sales leaders to align design strategy with our roadmap, and set the direction for design systems, research, and accessibility at scale. 

• Own product design across multiple product lines, setting the strategy and standards for the design team.  

• Lead and grow a team of designers, through coaching, clear feedback, and structured growth plans. 

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Sales leadership to align design strategy with our roadmap.  

• Own the quality, coherence, and business impact of design across the portfolio. 

• Set the direction for Crexi’s design system, research practice, and accessibility standards. 

• Define how AI changes the way we design and make sure it shows up in the team’s daily work.  

• Turn long-range company strategy into a clear design vision and multi-year roadmap. 

• Represent design in executive planning, communicating strategy, outcomes, and risk. 

• Own hiring strategy, resourcing, and prioritization across the design team. 

 

What You'll Need: 

• 12+ years of product or UX design experience, including organization-level design ownership with focus to lead teams in complex product environments. 

• Strong leader presence and sharp design judgment across multiple product lines in a SaaS environment. 

• Deep expertise in scaling design systems, research, accessibility, and design operations. 

• Expert fluency with Figma, FigJam, prototyping tools, design-system tooling, product analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude), and Jira/Confluence. 

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify patterns in complex information, and present insights clearly and accurately. 

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 

• Experience with commercial real estate, marketplace, or B2B SaaS products is a plus. 

• Experience with data or analytics products, or an advanced degree in a related field, is a plus.

We believe in rewarding great work — the anticipated base range for candidates in our Playa Vista, California location is $220,000 to $285,000, and that's just the starting point. You'll also be eligible for annual bonus and generous equity grant, giving you real ownership in Crexi's growth and serious upside as we scale.
