Monday through Friday 8am - 530pm 


Position Overview This position is primarily responsible for sales and customer service at an Aesop self-service location. Leads the Counter Sales Team. Assist the Site Manager with inventory, title work and photo updates. Sells salvaged autos, parts and accessories to individual customers, body and mechanical shops. Builds relationships with existing and new customers to continue to create trust. Represents the company professionally and ethically possessing a high level of integrity.  Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions 

  1. Lead Duties 
  • Provides pricing, product information, lead time information, and updates to customers as necessary. 
  • Serves as the primary point of contact with all customers, treating each one with courtesy and respect. 
  • Serves as the primary go-to for Counter Sales Associates for training and questions.  
  • When assigned advanced responsibilities, may include key-carrying duties, overseeing store opening or closing procedures, assisting with Management Operating System data entry, or participating in the development of store action plans. 
  • Demonstrate and reinforce a work environment where no task is performed in an unsafe or environmentally unsound manner, ensuring safety is the primary consideration in all operations. 
  • Verify that team members always comply with all Company and legal safety and environmental standards. Under management direction, you may oversee staff training and certification in safety and environmental compliance areas. 
  • Ensure the assigned area maintains cleanliness and organization, promoting a safe and environmentally secure environment for both employees and customers. 
  • Wear assigned PPE correctly and consistently whenever it’s required. 
  1. Customer Relations 
  • Maintains and builds relationships with new and existing customers. 
  • Embodies Aesop Auto Part's core values. 
  • Skilled in the art of listening. Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, and asking questions as appropriate. 
  • Answer parts or auto requests in a manner that offers the best customer experience while supplying the best solution available for the customer's situation. 
  1. Administrative 
  • Enter orders correctly within system, work within timeframes to expedite orders. 
  • Handles customer payments across multiple payment systems. 
  • Utilizes multiple system software, efficient with technology. 
  • Reports virtually all communication, verbal and written, to Site Manager daily. 
  • Validate customer receipts, perform cash verification, and complete accurate register countdowns to ensure compliance with Company cash-handling procedures and support the safeguarding of all financial assets. 
  • Support store operations by completing housekeeping, janitorial, and other assigned duties. This may include cleaning tires, carrying batteries, mopping floors, and similar tasks. 
  1. Business Acumen 
  • Present self in a professional manner. 
  1. Perform Other Duties as Assigned  
  • Works in customer-facing environment when onsite. 

Requirements

 Qualifications & Requirements 

  • Previous automotive sales experience a plus. 
  • Bilingual in Spanish, preferred. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required with a commitment to act with an elevated level of professionalism during all transactions both internally and externally. 
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  
  • Reacts well and positively under pressure while showing courage and taking action. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Word with the aptitude to learn new systems and software.  
  • Operates office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, phone systems, and cell phones. 
  • Honesty/Integrity. Do not cut corners ethically always speaking plainly and truthfully. 
  • Must be able to work collaboratively across functions. Share expertise with others. 
  • Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. 
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule—including weekends, holidays, occasional overtime—and to support nearby store locations as assigned by management.

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for the majority of the workday 
  • Occasionally move about facility.  
  • Ability to use both hands regularly with enough dexterity to complete essential functions. 
  • Occasionally lift, move, and carry objects and materials up to 50 lbs 
  • Expected Work Hours – 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. local time, Saturday through Wednesday 
  • Ability to work occasional overtime as needed as determined by the employee’s supervisor
