How you will make contributions that matter

We’re looking for an Environmental Advisor to join our Operations team in Melbourne on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. Supporting operational sites, Supply Chain, Logistics and Supplier Relations across Victoria and Tasmania, you’ll provide practical environmental advice across a diverse operational portfolio.

Working with site leaders, internal stakeholders, consultants and regulators, you’ll help manage environmental compliance and risk, coordinate monitoring and reporting, and drive continuous improvement in environmental performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing practical environmental advice and support across operational sites and functions.

• Identifying environmental risks and regulatory obligations and supporting teams to implement appropriate controls.

• Maintaining environmental management systems, registers, management plans and supporting documentation.

• Coordinating environmental monitoring and auditing programs, including working with external consultants.

• Supporting environmental incidents, corrective actions and improvement initiatives across areas including waste, water, emissions and resource use.

• Contributing to annual environmental, regulatory and sustainability reporting requirements.

About you

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Science or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated environmental experience within an operational environment in Manufacturing or FMCG (Ideally).

• Strong knowledge of environmental compliance, regulatory requirements and environmental management systems.

• A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to build relationships and influence operational stakeholders.

• Strong communication, reporting, planning and Microsoft Office skills, with exposure to sustainability or climate reporting highly regarded.

• Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy and willingness to occasionally travel across Victoria and Tasmania.
