Job Summary:

The Senior Automation Engineer (Control-M) will serve as a senior-level administrator responsible for managing, upgrading, and automating enterprise Control-M environments. The role requires strong technical expertise in Control-M infrastructure, scripting, and automation pipeline integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as L3 Control-M Administrator, handling end-to-end system administration and automation tasks.

• Perform Control-M migrations, upgrades, and patching activities.

• Configure and maintain Database Mirroring, High Availability (HA), and Failover setups.

• Plan and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) activities.

• Utilize Control-M Automation API (AAPI) to develop automation solutions and integrate with enterprise systems. 

• Implement and manage “Job as Code” setup and establish CI/CD pipelines for job promotion.

• Troubleshoot complex Control-M issues and ensure optimal system performance.

• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to support automation and scheduling needs.

Technical Skills:

• Platform/Product: Control-M

• Server/Database: Oracle, SQL, MySQL 

• Programming Languages: Python, Shell Scripting 

• Operating Systems: Unix/Linux

Mandatory Requirements:

• Proven experience as Control-M Administrator (L3). 

• Hands-on expertise in: 

Control-M migrations and upgrades 

Database mirroring and HA setup 

Failover and Disaster Recovery (DR) operations 

Automation API (AAPI) and Job as Code configuration 

CI/CD pipeline setup for job promotion
