As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by operating screening equipment, monitoring access points, and supporting security-related procedures. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or other authorized items entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures and applicable requirements.
• Operate screening equipment and perform inspections as assigned, identifying prohibited or suspicious items and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including facility entrances, loading areas, and the perimeter, and document observations and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
