Position Summary:
The Afterschool Program Lead Teacher supports and assists with ensuring the effective daily operations of an After-School Program and its classroom(s) by, ensuring the health and safety of program participants, and promoting their growth and development by providing high quality, age, developmental, and culturally appropriate curriculum and activities. These activities should lead participants in a “child-centered” environment resulting in their self-definition and self-empowerment. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule (some evenings); regular and predictable attendance is essential.
