Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Drive the development and implementation of a comprehensive supply planning process.
• Implement process improvement and systems projects to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and increase organizational capability.
• Provide regular updates to business unit leaders, interacting with multiple cross functional business.
• Ensure supply chain processes meet legal and trade compliance requirements and standards.
• Lead organization comprised of procurement, planning, shipping & receiving, and warehouse management teams.
• Evaluate and report on supply chain KPIs (part price variance, cycle count, excess and obsolete inventory, etc.).
• Provide regular reporting on inventory for Finance, Sales & Marketing, and key customers.
• Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.
• Develop talent and retention strategies within the supply planning team.
• Train, coach, and evaluate your immediate team of talent.

 

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or another related field. MBA preferred.
• 10+ years’ experience in a senior level Purchasing, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management or Operations role.
• 5+ years of management experience leading a large Supply Chain functional teams or Customer teams.
• Advanced training or certifications in Purchasing or Materials Management preferred.
• Knowledge of business processes related to purchasing, logistics and operational planning.
• Demonstrated management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of building and streamlining business systems and processes utilizing an ERP system (SAP is a plus).
• Six Sigma/Lean experience highly preferred.
• Advanced technical skills in MS Office,  Access, Excel, etc.
• Deep ERP experience, SAP preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels within an organization.
• Experience in developing and maintaining customer collaboration.
• Experience with government contract supply chain regulations a plus
• Self-starter, reliable and a passion for excellence.

Salary Range:

$150,400.00-$200,500.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
