Executive Chef / Head Chef (Expat)

Our client is a prestigious private luxury estate in Bali, affiliated with a leading international hotel group, offering exclusive hospitality experiences and exceptional personalized service.

This role will be overseeing the culinary operation at the private luxury estate; as well as at one of the owner’s other businesses, which also houses a restaurant.

This is the #1 leadership role within the kitchen operation, reporting directly to the Expat General Manager.

Profile

• Experience in similar position
• Background in luxury hotels, private estates, yachts or standalone restaurants
• Fine dining experience
• Strong knowledge of Western cuisine, with a good understanding also of Asian and Indonesian cuisines
• Skilled in personalized menus and bespoke dining experiences
• Creative in menu development and culinary presentation
• Adaptable to changing menus and guest preferences
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Good understanding of food costing and budget control
• Knowledgeable in inventory management and supplier coordination
• Strong commitment to food safety, hygiene and quality standards
• Adaptable to diverse guest preferences and dietary requirements
• Calm, patient and solution-oriented
• Able to work under pressure
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
• Hands-on, flexible and detail-oriented
• Positive attitude with a passion for culinary excellence
