About the Role

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacology Solutions Consultant for our Early Phase Units to join our team in a hybrid capacity. As a Solution Consultant, you will drive strategic impact by developing compelling operational and technical solutions that advance clinical research and support our clients' most critical objectives. This position plays a key role in identifying market opportunities, crafting differentiated value propositions, and positioning Parexel as an industry leader in clinical development solutions.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across Enterprise Accounts, Growth Accounts, Commercial Operations, and Strategic Business Units to translate client needs into innovative solutions. You'll contribute to business development from opportunity identification through solution design, bid strategy, and successful client engagement. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in clinical development strategy, expand your influence across the organization, and shape the future direction of Parexel's service offerings.

You'll join a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment where your strategic thinking, industry expertise, and consultative approach directly influence business outcomes and client success. With diverse teams and continuous learning opportunities, the Solutions Consultant role enables you to develop leadership capabilities and advance your career in clinical research and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and prioritize sales opportunities in partnership with Enterprise Accounts, Growth Accounts, and Strategic Business Units, crafting creative and strategic solutions tailored to specific client needs and sales campaigns for Early Phase Clinical Trials
  • Develop customer-focused, compelling proposal content that clearly differentiates Parexel from competitors, articulates our value proposition, and drives business growth across multiple service lines
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to both sponsors and internal teams, leveraging deep expertise in therapeutic, technical, or functional areas to develop highly competitive solution models and communicate credibly with all organizational levels
  • Define bid pursuit strategy and content, review and integrate considerations into RFP responses, and participate in bid pursuit meetings to ensure alignment with client objectives and Parexel capabilities
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of relevant products, pipelines, and market trends, identifying business opportunities and driving a consultative approach that positions Parexel as an industry leader
  • Support clients through the pre-award process and play a key role in promoting solution adoption, while solving complex business issues and presenting strategic recommendations to client leadership
  • Foster a strong One Parexel culture by driving market requirements and client feedback into Product Management and solution development, creating relevant and competitive value propositions for the market

You'll thrive in this role if you bring:

  • An energetic, 'make-it-happen' attitude with the ability to thrive in a complex, matrix environment and build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Strategic thinking combined with pragmatic approaches to delivery, and the ability to see the big picture while executing with attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with all business levels, from peers to C-suite to project teams
  • Strong understanding of the commercial ecosystem and awareness of industry trends in your area of expertise, demonstrated through active participation in leading industry forums and professional organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple, understandable, and compelling manner that resonates with diverse audiences
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload effectively
  • Independent thinking with a flexible attitude toward work assignments and a commitment to developing new capabilities
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed to support client relationships and business development activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or a related field
  • 3 - 5 years Early Phase Clinical Trials experience
  • Significant experience in strategic drug development planning or involvement in planning clinical, technical, or operational strategies
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and the drug development lifecycle
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to influence and persuade stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) in business, life sciences, or related field
  • Experience in a specific therapeutic area, or clinical development specialty
  • Active participation in industry forums, professional organizations, or thought leadership activities
  • Experience with clinical trial management systems, proposal development platforms, or enterprise software solutions
