DISTRICT HEALTH OFFICER II

This posting is for the State of Hawaii, Department of Health, Maui District Health Office.

The position is located in Wailuku/Kahului on the Island of Maui.

Salary: $11,363 - $18,190 per month (salary commensurate with training and experience)

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE: One year of General Experience: Professional experience in a public health program which demonstrated a thorough knowledge of one or more aspects of the management/administration process.

One year of Supervisory Experience: Work experience which involved supervising a professional staff in a public health program.

One year of Administrative Experience: Responsible experience which involved active participation and major responsibility for the development, management, execution, and coordination of a statewide public health program or the management, execution and coordination of a public health program with comparatively large professional work force in the public health district of the State, encompassing a county-wide area.

LICENSE: Possession of a valid license to drive in the State of Hawaii is preferred.
