Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Credential Validation in Palmetto, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Have X-ray screening experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
