Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Communications in Uniondale, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming presence, monitor access, assist visitors, and support a professional environment. You will use communication and computer skills to document activity, respond to security-related concerns, and help maintain site procedures. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate front desk while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor lobby access, verify visitor authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Receive incoming calls, provide directions and general building information, and communicate service requests or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Observe front-desk and lobby activity, report unusual conditions or security-related incidents, and respond to emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry points and assisting with the coordination of deliveries, vendors, and/or building management communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
