  • Monitor supplier commitments, including pricing, rebates, service levels, contract renewals, and performance requirements to ensure compliance and maximize contract value, including hyper-care support of the long-term care redevelopment team around new home commissioning and openings.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and suppliers to facilitate contract approvals, resolve issues, and support successful contract implementation.

  • Support the preparation and review of RFx documentation, supplier proposals, and related agreements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline contract processes, improve operational efficiencies, and strengthen contract compliance.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, providing contract-related guidance and supporting strategic clinical contracting initiatives.
  • Assist with special projects and other clinical contracting initiatives as directed by the Director of Clinical Contracts.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for:

  • 4–8 years of experience in contract management, healthcare procurement, supplier contracting, or a related field, preferably within healthcare or a regulated environment.

  • Experience in healthcare, long-term care, healthcare distributions, group purchasing organizations, or clinical supply contracting is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contracts, deadlines, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to identify and escalate contractual or compliance risks appropriately.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience using Salesforce, SharePoint, or other contract management systems is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and recommend process improvements while maintaining a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
  • Strong commitment to accountability, accuracy, continuous improvement, and achieving positive business outcomes.
