Job Description

As a Security Officer X-Ray Scanner in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by monitoring access points, screening people and property, and responding to security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry to restricted areas, escalating discrepancies according to established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, access points, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
