Description

Love cars, enjoy keeping things organised and want to kick-start your career in the automotive industry but want to keep your weekends? This could be the role for you!

Salary:
£30,300 per year, with the opportunity to earn £35,000
Location: Vines of Guildford
Hours: 42.5 hrs – Monday–Friday: 0830–1800 with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.

We’re looking for a confident, energetic, and proactive individual to become the driving force behind our vehicle stock and showroom presentation. From getting cars ready to advertise online to keeping our forecourt looking fantastic, you’ll play a key role in making sure everything runs like clockwork.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves variety, enjoys taking ownership and wants to make their mark. You don’t necessarily need previous automotive experience – if you’ve got the right attitude, great organisational skills and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you!

We anticipate interviews will take place on 18th and 19th November so keep an eye out for correspondence 👀

What You Will Be Doing:

No two days will be the same! You’ll take ownership of a varied role that keeps our vehicles moving and our Sales team supported.
  • Getting Cars Sales-Ready: Coordinating the progress of new and used vehicles, keeping track of preparation, and working closely with the Workshop team to obtain pricing and updates.
  • Creating Standout Listings: Photographing vehicles and managing our Auto Trader adverts, ensuring our predominantly used car stock is presented accurately and looks its best online.
  • Keeping the Forecourt in Check: Taking pride in how our vehicles are displayed, keeping the forecourt organised and ensuring every car makes the right first impression.
  • Managing Vehicle Arrivals: Checking in vehicles deliveries, making sure everything is accounted for and the necessary processes are followed.
  • Showroom Star: Helping keep our new car showroom looking its best, ensuring vehicles are presented to a high standard, and the space is always ready to welcome customers.
  • Keeping Everyone Connected: Working closely with the Sales and Workshop teams, communicating updates, and helping ensure vehicles are ready when needed.
  • Making Things Happen: Taking the initiative, spotting what needs doing next and finding ways to make processes more efficient. You’ll be the go-to person for your area of responsibility, so being organised and taking ownership will be key!

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone with personality, initiative, and a real get-up-and-go attitude. You’ll be happy rolling up your sleeves, working independently and being the person the wider team can rely on.

You’ll bring:
  • Organisation in Your DNA: You love a plan, have an eye for detail and can juggle different priorities without letting things slip.
  • A Self-Starter Mentality: You don’t wait to be asked. You spot opportunities, take action and see things through.
  • Confidence and Communication: You’re comfortable speaking to different people, building relationships and handling conversations that keep your colleagues on track.
  • Digital Know-How: You’re confident with technology and quick to pick up new systems, platforms and processes.
  • A Creative Spark: You take pride in presentation and enjoy finding ways to make things look better and work smarter.
  • A Team-First Attitude: You’re happy working independently, but you understand the importance of supporting colleagues and being someone others can count on.
  • A Positive, Can-Do Approach: You bring energy, confidence and fresh ideas, and you’re always willing to get stuck in.
  • Automotive experience would be great, but it’s not essential. Perhaps you’ve worked in customer service, as a Service Advisor or in another fast-paced role where organisation and communication are key. If you’re tech-savvy, motivated and excited to learn, this could be your opportunity to get your foot in the door of the motor trade.
