Leidos' Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Supplier Program Manager to support the Indirect Fires Protection Capability (IFPC) program in Huntsville, Alabama.

The Supplier Program Manager will manage the execution and performance of assigned production subcontract suppliers, ensuring hardware and material deliveries align with program cost, schedule, quality, and technical requirements.

This position works closely with Program Management, Global Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to drive supplier accountability, resolve execution challenges, manage supply chain risks, and support production readiness.

The IFPC Increment 2 program supports the U.S. Army's integrated air and missile defense mission, providing protection against evolving threats, including unmanned aircraft systems, cruise missiles, and rockets.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage execution of assigned production subcontracts valued at $80M+, monitoring supplier performance against cost, schedule, technical, quality, and delivery commitments.
  • Serve as the primary program execution interface for assigned subcontract suppliers, coordinating with Global Supply Chain and Procurement on contractual matters.
  • Lead supplier status reviews, monitor production progress, identify delivery risks, and drive corrective actions and recovery plans to maintain program commitments.
  • Subcontract Program Management Plan: Own the development, maintenance, and execution of the plan, ensuring alignment with program objectives and subcontract requirements.
  • Supply Chain Risk Management Plan: Develop, maintain, and execute the plan, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Supplier Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs): Manage supplier data deliverables, coordinating submissions, tracking compliance, and ensuring timely delivery against contractual requirements.
  • Supply Chain Performance Metrics: Develop, maintain, and continuously improve supplier scorecards, dashboards, and key performance indicators covering delivery, material readiness, schedule performance, and risk.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management to resolve supplier technical issues, material shortages, capacity constraints, and production challenges.
  • Integrate supplier milestones, material requirements, and delivery commitments into the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Prepare supplier performance reports, program review materials, and management briefings communicating subcontract status, risks, and recovery actions.
  • Support subcontract negotiations, modifications, and supplier performance discussions in coordination with authorized Global Supply Chain and Contracts personnel.
  • Support supplier cost tracking, Estimate at Completion (EAC) updates, and Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting as applicable.
  • Identify and implement improvements to supplier performance, material flow, reporting accuracy, and supply chain execution processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Program Management, or related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in subcontract management, supplier program management, procurement, or supply chain execution.
  • Experience supporting production suppliers, manufacturing operations, or complex hardware programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage supplier schedules, delivery commitments, performance issues, and corrective actions.
  • Experience developing program plans, risk registers, performance reports, or contractual deliverables.
  • Understanding of subcontract execution, procurement processes, and material planning.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience developing performance metrics, dashboards, or management reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate execution across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.
  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing production subcontract suppliers supporting defense, aerospace, missile systems, or complex hardware programs.
  • Experience with Subcontract Program Management Plans, Supply Chain Risk Management Plans, and Supplier Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs).
  • Experience with supplier production readiness assessments, delivery recovery planning, and corrective action management.
  • Familiarity with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Earned Value Management (EVM), and program cost and schedule reporting.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Oracle Agile, Solumina, Power BI, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS requirements and government contracting environments.
  • Experience developing supplier scorecards, automated dashboards, and supply chain process improvements.
  • PMP, CAPM, CPSM, APICS, or related professional certification.
