As a Branch Team Lead, you'll play a key role in motivating, coaching, and supporting your team. Through your leadership, you'll bring focus to goals and vision while building strong relationships and driving results.

A day in the life

• Provide a positive work environment that attracts, retains, and motivates talent
• Coach, train, and motivate team members to meet service and sales goals
• Support operational reporting and manage team targets and performance metrics
• Assist the Branch Manager (or oversee objectives in their absence) and ensure daily service commitments are met
• Answer client and associate questions, handle service/call escalations, answer phone inquiries, complete special projects, train new hires, and assist in creating processes
• Maintain relationships with employees to ensure quality service standards are met
• Other job responsibilities as required

What you will bring to our team

• Minimum 1-2 years insurance brokerage experience, with some leadership experience preferred.

• Level 2 General Insurance License and an industry designation (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM) considered an asset.

• Excellent communication and time management skills. 

• Strong organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail and accuracy. 

Salary Expectations –

The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
