Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Report Preparation in SAN JOSE, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns and documenting activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the financial institution location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations according to site requirements.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruptive activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
