Recreation Leader, PT (Mellon Tennis)

Assists in the daily operations of the Mellon Park Tennis Facility, including but not limited to, scheduling court reservations for patrons, performing cash transactions and cleaning the facility.

Salary:  $16.39 per hour.

Union: None, this is a non-union position.

Civil Service Classification:  Exempt, Part-Time

• Answers telephone calls and inquiries about court availability and schedules court reservations.
• Keeps accurate records of daily court rentals.
• Maintains the facility conditions by changing water coolers, restocking cups and emptying trash bins.
• Keeps all areas inside and outside of the facility clean by vacuuming the tennis courts with court sweeper, cleaning the restrooms, changing floor mats, shoveling snow and raking leaves.
• Resolves patron complaints and concerns regarding facility conditions.
• Performs activities and functions of related departmental personnel as assigned or required.
• Performs such other related tasks and duties that are assigned or required.
