CDL Class A Driver – Local Pallet Delivery (53’ Trailer)
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay: $26-30/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full Time| Monday–Friday | Occasional weekends
Reports To: Facilities / Operations Manager
Coverage Area: Local
Position Overview
We’re hiring a dependable CDL Class A Driver to operate a 53’ tractor-trailer supporting pallet delivery operations out of Posen, IL. This is a local / regional role—not long haul. Ideal for drivers who want consistency, solid pay, and to be treated like a professional.
You’ll play a key role in daily logistics operations, working closely with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure timely, safe, and accurate deliveries.
Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a 53’ tractor-trailer on local and regional routes

Deliver pallets/packaged goods to customers within a 100–150 mile radius

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Maintain accurate delivery records, mileage logs, and BOLs

Ensure DOT compliance at all times

Occasionally assist with loading/unloading pallets as needed

Communicate clearly with dispatch, warehouse, and onsite contacts

Represent the company professionally at customer locations
Requirements
-
Valid CDL Class A license
-
1+ year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred

Experience operating 53’ trailers
-
Clean or manageable MVR
-
Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening

Comfortable with light manual labor related to pallet handling

Strong safety awareness, time management, and communication skills
Tools & Technology

ELD systems (Samsara, KeepTruckin, or similar)

GPS & navigation tools (Garmin, Waze, Google Maps)

Dispatch/routing software (experience preferred)

Pallet jack experience preferred; forklift a plus (not required)
