Description
Up to $15,000 sign on bonus available for external candidates.

- Perform age‑ and diagnosis‑appropriate physical therapy evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized orthopedic treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation per departmental standards.
- Educate patients and families on recovery, exercises, and injury prevention.
- Participate in departmental initiatives, continuing education, and professional development.
- Support clinical education and training of physical therapy students, as applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Louisiana or eligibility for licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association).
Preferred:
- Experience in orthopedics, inpatient, or outpatient rehabilitation.
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient‑education skills.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to manage an orthopedic caseload efficiently.
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Windows‑based applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Work in a specialized orthopedic hospital with a strong physician partnership.
