This position supports social media operations across multiple global brands and reports to our Global Social Media Team with offices in Chicago, Toronto, and London.
A successful candidate will be collaborative and adaptable, must be able to problem-solve and effectively communicate across our global marketing ecosystem.
How you'll make an impact
Global Content Coordination & Management
- Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and publishing of social media content across global channels (LinkedIn, Facebook), in collaboration with regional teams
- Ensure global content is effectively localised and adapted for regional markets while maintaining brand consistency
- Own the creation of day-to-day social media assets in Canva, including static posts, carousels, and simple animations, ensuring all content is high quality, on brand, and delivered on time
- Act as the primary point of contact for social media asset development, briefing and coordinating more complex visual and multimedia assets (video, motion, campaign visuals) with internal teams, external vendors, and agencies
- Manage and maintain global editorial calendars, aligning with key marketing campaigns, awards, announcements, and events
Community & Stakeholder Coordination
- Oversee community management across social platforms, ensuring timely and consistent responses aligned with brand tone
- Coordinate with regional marketing teams to manage engagement and escalate issues where required
- Identify opportunities to engage with industry groups, partners, and influencers in collaboration with marketing stakeholders
Global Analytics & Reporting
- Consolidate and coordinate reporting on social media KPIs (engagement, reach, impressions, conversions, growth) across regions
- Monitor competitor activity and emerging trends to support continuous improvement
Governance & Brand Alignment
- Ensure all social media activity aligns with global brand guidelines, tone of voice, and accessibility standards
- Support the implementation and enforcement of global social media governance policies
- Maintain and update shared libraries of approved content, assets, hashtags, and messaging frameworks
Innovation & Best Practice Enablement
- Stay informed on platform updates, emerging trends, and new technologies
- Share best practices and recommendations with regional teams to enhance performance and consistency
- Identify opportunities to pilot new formats, tools, or channels to strengthen global social media presence
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3+ years of experience in social media coordination roles
- Advanced proficiency in Canva (essential), with the ability to independently design high-quality, on-brand social media assets (static posts, carousels, basic animations, short-form video)
- Strong visual eye and understanding of layout, typography, and brand consistency
- Experience coordinating content across multiple stakeholders, regions, and time zones
- Solid understanding of social media platforms (especially LinkedIn and Facebook) and best practices for B2B audiences
- Experience supporting or coordinating paid social campaigns in partnership with media or digital teams
- Ability to translate campaign objectives into effective social media content plans
- Experience working with creative teams or agencies to deliver digital assets
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools
- Ability to interpret performance data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in global or matrixed organisations, collaborating with cross functional and regional teams
