Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
CT Tech Qualifications
- Educational Background: Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology with additional training in CT.
- Certification: ARRT Certification in Radiology is required.
- CT Registry: Must be CT Registry eligible or CT Registered. If CT Registry eligible, you must obtain CT registration within 6 months of your hire date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS): BCLS certification is required.
