Local Education are currently supporting a well-regarded secondary school in Essex who are seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to join their team from Easter 2026 on a temporary basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or confident ECT looking to secure a short-term or longer-term teaching position within a supportive school environment.

The Role

• Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4

• Delivering engaging and structured lessons

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively

• Working as part of a supportive Maths department

 

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching Maths within secondary schools

• Strong classroom management

• Passion for supporting student progress
