Location: New York, NY / San Francisco, CA
Company Stage of Funding: Series A (~$25M raised)
Office Type: Hybrid (3 days/week in-office)
Salary: $155,000 – $350,000 + Equity

Our client is a fast-growing, venture-backed AI startup building a next-generation platform for enterprise compliance and risk management. Their technology captures institutional knowledge and scales it using AI systems, enabling organizations to automate complex decision-making processes.
With strong early traction, rapid deployment growth, and a recent Series A raise, the company is scaling quickly to meet demand from enterprise customers. They are tackling a massive market opportunity and building production AI systems used in high-stakes environments.
What You Will Do
- Design, build, and deploy LLM-powered systems and agent-based workflows in production
- Work directly with enterprise customers and subject matter experts to refine model outputs and performance
- Develop evaluation frameworks to measure and improve model accuracy, reliability, and quality
- Implement human-in-the-loop systems and feedback loops for continuous improvement
- Prototype and ship new AI-powered features based on real-world customer needs
- Contribute to core platform development by generalizing customer-specific solutions into scalable systems
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and domain experts to deliver high-impact AI solutions
Ideal Candidate Background
- 3+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML systems in production
- Strong experience with LLM orchestration, agent systems, or similar frameworks
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript for building AI applications
- Experience developing evaluation frameworks for AI systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in fast-paced environments
- Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated high agency and ownership mindset
Preferred
- Experience fine-tuning or adapting models for domain-specific use cases
- Background in fintech, compliance, or regulated industries
- Experience with multi-agent systems or agent orchestration frameworks
- Prior founder or strong side-project experience demonstrating high initiative
- Experience working at high-growth startups or AI-native companies
- Strong academic background from a top-tier institution
Compensation and Benefits
