Description
We are recruiting for a Window Fabricator to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a hands on production role working across different stages of the window manufacturing process. It would suit someone with previous window fabrication experience, or someone from a similar background such as production operative, assembly operative, manufacturing operative, UPVC fabricator, glazing operative, workshop operative, warehouse operative, or mechanical assembly roles with transferable skills.
This is a temp to perm opportunity with structured training across departments and long term progression.

Location: Witham, based on site within a window manufacturing and production environment.
Pay rate: £12.71 per hour

20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Shift Patterns / Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am to 2.30pm with 45 minutes total breaks at 9am and 12pm
Friday 6am to 2pm
Friday 6am to 2pm
What You’ll Do
• Fabricate windows following production specifications
• Work along the hanging line and support assembly processes
• Learn different furniture options and window ranges
• Assist stores with customer packs and window packs
• Carry out glass inspection and quality checks
• Support different departments as training progresses
• Help with general production and assembly duties
• Undertake ad hoc tasks to support the wider team
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

What We’re Looking For:
Previous window fabrication experience preferred
Experience in manufacturing, assembly, production or workshop environments considered
Good attention to detail and quality standards
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Willingness to learn different departments
Ability to work as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast paced production environment
