SSARS Manager (Compilations & Reviews)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead compilation and review engagements for privately held businesses across a variety of industries. This role is ideal for a public accounting professional who enjoys client interaction, staff development, and providing high-quality financial reporting services without the demands of audit engagements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review compilation and review engagements in accordance with SSARS standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and build strong, long-term relationships.
• Review financial statements, disclosures, and workpapers for accuracy and compliance.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff and senior accountants.
• Manage engagement budgets, deadlines, and workflow across multiple client engagements.
• Research and resolve accounting and financial reporting issues.
• Collaborate with partners to ensure exceptional client service and identify opportunities to expand relationships.

Qualifications

• CPA license preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience.
• Strong experience with compilations, reviews, and financial statement preparation.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Prior experience supervising and mentoring staff.
