Overview

StandardAero is seeking a Service Engineer to support the organization's ability to maintain, repair and overhaul gas turbine engines used in flight applications. The role focuses on engine and module assembly and disassembly, along with associated special processes required as part of the engine overhaul process. Responsibilities include reviewing customer technical and contractual data, ensuring correct engine configuration, generating engine condition reports, participating in component Material Review Boards, and generating Shop Orders and Work Instructions. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, at least 1 year of related experience, direct engineering experience with the CFM56-7B engine or other GE engine product line, and working knowledge of gas turbine engine theory. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US and able to support off hours/on-call needs.
