Overview
Perform independent comprehensive respiratory assessments and therapies as prescribed by physicians. Conduct bedside procedures including pulse oximetry, ABG analysis, and pulmonary mechanics. Manage mechanical ventilator patients, assess weaning parameters, and provide respiratory education. Maintain and operate respiratory care equipment with quality control procedures. Requires Associate's Degree, respiratory therapy certificate, and current NYS license.
