What you will do

You will lead the team of Sourcing Professionals, lead complex RFPs and manage supplier negotiations, and collaborate with key stakeholders and across departments to achieve business objectives

 

·     **Key Responsibilities**

·     Lead a Sourcing team executing end to end Sourcing process for South Europe cluster, in different categories. You will oversee and optimize daily operations of the sourcing team, ensure optimal resource allocation, prioritize projects to drive maximum value.

·     Set clear departmental objectives in collaboration with senior management and communicate these effectively to the team, providing regular updates and escalation reports to management.

·     Accountable to deliver defined savings and service targets for your team.

·     Assess change needs, impact, and stakeholder management activities and support change management integration activities & compliance improvement education.

·     Mentor and provide professional development opportunities to team members to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, proactive problem-solving, and capability building.

·     Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, supply chain, and other departments to align sourcing initiatives with organizational goals, resolve sourcing-related issues, and support sustainability targets.

·     Drive the adoption of cutting-edge sourcing technologies and automation tools to streamline processes, enhance supplier engagement, and improve operational effectiveness.

·     Monitor and manage key supplier relationships, including performance evaluation and contract negotiations, to ensure quality, timely delivery, favorable terms, and compliance with company policies.

·     Prepare and present comprehensive reports on sourcing activities, market developments, and performance metrics to senior management, and identify and escalate critical issues to mitigate risks.

 

You will be responsible for providing end-to-end category support, delivering cost savings, buying and payment channel compliance, contract excellence and supplier optimization. This includes business engagement, sourcing strategy development with all kinds of analysis (industries, suppliers, spend by categories, stakeholders, etc.), contracting, supplier and/or stakeholder management, and procurement enablement activities, and leading a team of specialists working in support of specific Categories.  Categories in scope could include Marketing, HR & Business Services, R&D, IT, IT Services and Capital, Construction, and Facilities Services (CCFS).

 

 

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sourcing / contract management experience (including contract drafting, review and negotiation).

·       Ability to provide consultation and negotiation support to business partners.

  • Leadership, communication, influencing, and collaboration skills are required.
  • Experience in leading and coaching multicultural teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently present complex information in English.
  • Change management skill is highly required.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a Supply Chain, Finance, or Business-related course.
  • Experience in indirect procurement in the consumer goods industry
