Baccalaureat requis (maitrise un atout), idealement dans l'une des disciplines suivantes : Genie Gestion des operations Chaine d'approvisionnement Amelioration continue Fabrication Minimum de 10 ans d'experience en gestion dans un environnement manufacturier complexe et en evolution rapide. Experience significative en milieu syndique. Expertise demontree en amelioration continue (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.). Experience en gestion du changement et transformation culturelle. Connaissance de SAP (atout). Bachelor's degree required (graduate degree an asset), ideally in one of the following fields: Engineering Operations Management Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Minimum of 10 years of management experience in a complex, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Significant experience in a unionized environment. Proven expertise in continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.). Experience in change management and cultural transformation. SAP knowledge (an asset). Engaging, results-driven leadership with strong influencing skills. Excellent ability to prioritize, analyze, and solve complex issues. Coaching-oriented leadership approach focused on development and collaboration. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Strong focus on quality, performance, health & safety. Ability to thrive in a demanding environment and manage multiple priorities. Bilingualism. Actively contribute to the definition and execution of the overall operational strategy for Canada. Provide engaging leadership across production, maintenance, quality, and health & safety functions. Translate strategic priorities into clear short- and long-term operational objectives. Define, drive, and achieve performance targets related to productivity, quality, cost, and operational health. Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing: Productivity and production capacity Equipment reliability and performance Team engagement and development Optimize processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and foster a positive work environment. Coach and develop a high-performing team of managers to: Strengthen their leadership capabilities Support performance management Drive employee engagement and growth Create a motivating work environment built on recognition, collaboration, and accountability. Maintain positive labor relations in a unionized environment. Manage the operations budget (costs, productivity, margins) with rigor and discipline. Promote and uphold best management practices, the code of ethics, and corporate standards. Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and food safety standards. Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, and quality teams to support innovation and product launches. Maintain up-to-date operational procedures and ensure their adoption.
