Role Overview
You will manage Siemens Teamcenter across Development, Test and Production, working closely with engineering, infrastructure, database and enterprise-application teams. The role combines platform administration, technical troubleshooting, access management and operational improvement.
This is an opportunity to support a business-critical engineering platform and contribute to the evolution of a modern, increasingly automated and AI-enabled technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, patch and maintain Teamcenter environments, ensuring reliable operation across Development, Test and Production.
- Administer users, organisations, groups, roles, permissions, preferences and access-control policies.
- Monitor platform health, analyse logs and resolve performance, availability and environment-related issues.
- Coordinate the administration of supporting servers, databases, web components, backups and maintenance procedures.
- Support engineering and application teams, troubleshoot integrations and maintain technical procedures, configuration records and runbooks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter architecture, administration, upgrades, patching and production support.
- Good knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server, Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server, and web or application servers such as Tomcat or IIS.
- Experience with Active Workspace, performance troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and Teamcenter integrations; scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell or Python are highly valued.
