FX is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Executive Vice President of Development. Responsibilities include heavy scheduling, tracking and logging incoming material, and answering phones.
Responsibilities:
Schedule meetings, answer phones, make travel arrangements, handle expense reports, and various other administrative tasks to support the EVP, Development
Track, log, and manage incoming submissions of written and visual material and keep an accurate account of all materials that are submitted, including scripts, cuts, outlines, and submissions
Serve as the liaison to other departments for information on series, communicating accurate show information to talent agents and internal partners and managing high-volume information flow confidentially
Support the department and other executives as needed, including scheduling studio meetings, updating department records, and researching various properties and/or arenas to potentially develop into series
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years previous work experience at a talent agency, production company studio or network with a solid grasp of the entertainment business
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a positive, collaborative working style and the ability to interact professionally with senior executives, talent, and their representatives
Highly organized and resourceful, with strong attention to detail, the ability to anticipate needs, and proven success managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Able to manage and disseminate tasks punctually and properly
High level of confidentiality, judgment, and integrity in handling sensitive information and materials.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate scripts and other creative materials in relation to development projects
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Words, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting an SVP or above preferred
Knowledge and passion for entertainment and media
Undergraduate degree
