What You'll Do

As a Member Services Specialist, you'll serve as a trusted resource for members by delivering exceptional service and identifying financial solutions that meet their needs. Responsibilities include:

• Opening and maintaining consumer accounts, including checking, savings, and other deposit products
• Assisting members with account transactions, service requests, and account maintenance
• Processing consumer loan applications and assisting with loan disbursements and closings
• Identifying opportunities to recommend products and services that support members' financial goals
• Resolving member concerns quickly and professionally while providing outstanding service
• Educating members on digital banking tools and credit union services
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with credit union policies and financial regulations
• Building strong member relationships through personalized financial solutions
• Supporting branch operations and contributing to team goals

Your Job Classification & Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Saturday (Saturday rotation)

Pay Range: $19.63 – 20.86 per hour, based on experience

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity or customer service role required
• Previous banking, credit union, financial institution, or teller experience strongly preferred
• Cash handling experience preferred 
• Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
• Friendly, positive, member focused attitude 
• Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort with computers and financial systems
• CU*Answers or credit union software is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, finance, communications, or related field preferred
