The Financial Benefits Consultant serves as a trusted relationship partner for highly compensated participants by delivering financial wellness guidance, account servicing, and implementation support that helps clients achieve their long-term financial goals. Working closely with Executive Planners and Benefits Planners, this role supports the execution of comprehensive financial plans, facilitates account opening and ongoing servicing, and helps participants understand and maximize their workplace benefits and wealth management solutions.

As a licensed financial professional, the Financial Benefits Consultant serves as a primary point of contact for participants throughout their planning journey, ensuring recommendations are implemented efficiently, questions are resolved proactively, and participants receive an exceptional client experience. Success in this role requires strong relationship management skills, financial services knowledge, attention to detail, and a client-first approach.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with highly compensated participants by providing proactive communication, exceptional service, and ongoing financial wellness support.

  • Conduct financial wellness conversations to help participants understand their workplace benefits, financial goals, and available wealth management solutions.

  • Coordinate participant meetings and planning activities with Executive Planners and Benefits Planners to ensure a seamless client experience.

  • Support Executive Planners and Benefits Planners by gathering financial information, preparing planning materials, and assisting with the development and implementation of comprehensive financial plans.

  • Facilitate account opening, account maintenance, asset transfers, beneficiary updates, and other wealth management servicing activities.

  • Support participants enrolled in managed account programs by implementing planning recommendations, servicing accounts, and helping clients remain aligned with their financial plans.

  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on workplace benefits, retirement plans, and financial wellness programs by responding to participant inquiries and coordinating additional support when needed.

  • Implement investment recommendations developed by the planning team and support ongoing portfolio reviews aligned with participant objectives and risk tolerance.

  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation using company systems while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.

  • Stay informed on investment products, market trends, workplace benefits, and regulatory developments that may impact participants.

  • Partner with Executive Planners, Benefits Planners, Operations, Compliance, and other internal business partners to deliver an exceptional participant experience.

  • Maintain compliance with FINRA, SEC, state insurance, and company regulatory requirements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of departmental and organizational objectives.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of three years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, investment services, retirement services, or a related client-facing financial services role.

  • Active FINRA Series 7 license required.

  • Active FINRA Series 63 and Series 65 licenses, or Series 66, required.

  • State Life Insurance License required.

  • FINRA Fingerprinting required.

  • Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation preferred.

  • Knowledge of financial wellness, investment management, retirement planning, workplace benefits, and wealth management principles.

  • Experience supporting comprehensive financial planning and wealth management clients.

  • Strong relationship management and client service skills with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term participant relationships.

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and professionally.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate participant needs while delivering a high-quality client experience.

  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to regulatory compliance.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using CRM systems and financial services technology.

What Will Set You Apart

  • CRPC® designation.

  • Experience supporting highly compensated executives or high-net-worth clients.

  • Experience with managed accounts, advisory platforms, and account implementation.

  • Knowledge of executive benefits, deferred compensation, non-qualified plans, equity compensation, or workplace retirement programs.

  • Experience using financial planning software and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.

  • Ability to proactively identify participant needs and coordinate appropriate planning resources.

  • Passion for helping participants improve their financial confidence and achieve their long-term financial goals.

Base Salary Range

$65,600.00 - $92,675.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
