Job Description Summary
We’re seeking a hands-on Site Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize IT infrastructure services at our Holzkirchen location. You’ll be the primary contact for all local infrastructure matters -from LAN and data center facilities to desktop support and vendor coordination. Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Serve as the single point of contact for all site infrastructure issues and escalations
- Lead local implementation of infrastructure projects using standardized frameworks
- Monitor and improve performance of IT services including LAN, desktop deployments, and printer management
- Ensure compliance with quality, security, and regulatory standards
- Coordinate vendor activities and manage on-site fixes
- Drive continuous service improvement and asset refresh initiatives
- Report KPIs and service metrics to the Regional/Country Infrastructure Manager
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and incident resolution
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align infrastructure goals with operational need
- Report technical complaints or adverse events related to Sandoz products within 24 hours
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years in IT infrastructure, project, and vendor management
- Strong understanding of IT strategy, architecture, and operations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships and work in virtual international teams
- Fluent in German

Compensation Structure & Criteria:
Sandoz compensation is determined by job level, qualifications, niche skills, experience, and location within company salary ranges. Fully proficient and highly effective employees can expect a starting salary around market median, with those new to the level or with less functional depth at the lower end of the range and those with sustained superior or niche skills towards the higher end of the range. Internal equity and external market data inform our range placement. Annual salary reviews consider performance outcomes, market alignment, and business needs.

- Starting pay range: EUR 64,700 - 125,200
- Variable compensation: 10% performance-based bonus
