Job Description :
• Conduct environmental and social screening. • Prepare/review ESIA, ESMP and safeguard documents. • Support environmental regulatory compliance. • Advise on land acquisition and resettlement issues. • Mainstream gender equality and social inclusion. • Undertake environmental and social risk assessments. • Develop mitigation and monitoring plans. • Conduct field inspections and safeguard audits. • Build safeguard capacity within implementing agencies. • Coordinate with regulators and stakeholders. • Prepare safeguard reports and disclosure documents. • Monitor implementation of mitigation measures. • Address grievance redress mechanisms. • Document lessons learned and best practices. • Support project reviews and due diligence.
Skills and Abilities:
Master's in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Science/Ecology/Social Development/Environmental Management or related.
Preferred: ESIA/ESG certifications.
8–15 years in environmental and social safeguards, ESIA, ESG or infrastructure advisory.
