Deburr Technician / Hand Finisher (Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing)Experience preferred, but paid Training Provided!Location: North Phoenix - 2688 E Rose Garden Ln, Phoenix, AZ 85050Shift Options: Day Shift Weekend ShiftNight Shift (20% night shift differential)Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required. Deburr/Hand FinisherKey Responsibilities:Perform deburring, edge-breaking, and surface finishing on machined aerospace partsUse hand tools (files, scrapers, Exacto knives, rotary tools, Dremels, and small pneumatic tools Inspect parts visually and dimensionally to ensure surface finish and edge conditions meet specificationsFollow work instructions, blueprints, and engineering drawingsIdentify and report any part defects, non-conformities, or tooling issuesHandle delicate or complex parts with care to avoid damageSupport team members in meeting production deadlines and quality goalsAdhere to company policies and procedures, including ITAR and other compliance regulationsBasic Skills & Abilities:Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordinationAttention to detail and a high level of patience for fine finishing workAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsBasic understanding of blueprint reading and geometric tolerances (a plus)Willingness to learn inspection and measurement techniquesAbility to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksDependability and commitment to quality workmanshipRequirements:Minimum high school diploma or GED requiredVocational training or coursework in manufacturing, blueprint reading, or quality control is a plusExperience preferredOn-the-job training providedAbility to sit for extended periods Walking, bending, squatting, reachingRegular use of hands, wrists, and fingers to handle small tools, deburring instruments, and precision componentsAbility to grip, hold, and manipulate parts using fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for extended periodsMust be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 pounds regularly; occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs may be requiredMust be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protectionMust tolerate exposure to machining dust, oils, and moderate noise levels in a manufacturing environmentDue to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.Pay level depends on job related experience.Team oriented company with top paying wages and benefits in the valley in regards to the Aerospace Industry.
