Safety Representative
New Albany, OH
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular field safety inspections and/or more formal audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Must be able and willing to engage negative behavior and/or conditions to complete resolution.
- Investigate accidents and incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that safety is a top priority on the site.
- Maintain accurate records of all safety-related incidents and activities – entering the approved data software for advancing and /or data retention.
- Be capable of working with multiple subcontractors and their respective safety representatives.
- Ability to work extended work hours during the week and/or possibly weekend (over 40).
Requirements:
- Minimum of (5) years of experience in construction safety.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
