Job Summary
The P2P Operational Procurement Junior Analyst is part of Swissport Business Services Morocco and reporting into the The P2P Operational Procurement Project Lead (P2P OPS). The scope of the role covers the timely and accurate execution of Operational Procurement processes. The role is also responsible to continuously seek better ways of performing these processes and supports process improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Support end-users in the requisition process and redirect requisitions to the proper channel as defined
- Review and assess purchase requisitions to ensure information is meaningful and correct
- Validate and convert purchase requests into purchase orders and release to vendors
- Ensure purchase request and price quotations are obtained according to policy
- Manage PO invoice non-conformities (like prices mismatch)
- Ensure the highest compliance to procurement strategies, policies, P2P process procedures and internal control standards
- Manage e-Procurement catalogue setup, changes and maintenance.
- Manage vendor master data requests
- Support the management of vendor inquiries and claims
- Drive reporting for procurement operations processes (efficiency, compliance, spend, etc.)
- Contributes ideas and actions towards the continuous improvement of processes within area of influence
- Implement quality and process improvement projects
- Maintain positive work relationships with members of the Business Services teams and local country stakeholders
Qualifications and Competencies
- Certificate of Secondary Education (minimum), Desirable: University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Finance
- Procurement education is a plus; Desirable: Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement
- 0 to 4+ years of relevant experience
- Good understanding of Purchasing- and end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes
- Understanding of common Procurement policies
- Working experience within a Shared Service Centre / Business Services organization is a plus
- Good conceptual and analytical skills in the optimization of processes
- A strong will to deliver excellent quality / service and continuously improve technical / functional skills and efficiency
- Distinctive customer orientation and interact courteously with customers
- Flexible work style and ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team
- Self-starter who is performance and quality oriented
- Successfully handles most non-routine issues, escalates to team lead issues that cannot be resolved
- Requires minimal supervision to manage daily activities and to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- High proficiency in spoken and written English as the corporate language.
